French Toast

Indians love making French Toast with an Indian twist to it and I’m no exception to the rule. So here is my version. Enjoy

Serves : 2 people

Preparation time- 5 mins, Cooking time- 10 mins


4 eggs

8 slices of bread

1-2 green chillies chopped

1 medium size onion chopped

1 Tbsp milk

Salt as per taste

1/2 tsp black pepper powder

2-3 Tbsp Canola oil to fry


Beat the eggs and add chopped onion, green chillies and milk. Best once more and set aside. Cut the bread sides and slice diagonally. Dip the slices one at a time and when oil is heated in the non stick wok fry them. Flip on the next side once frying is done. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and enjoy with tea or coffee

Slice the bread
Dip the bread slice into the beaten egg
Fry the other side
Enjoy hot with tea or coffee
