Pompfret is one of my favourite fish and I love to eat as a entree or with afternoon tea or coffee or for lunch with steamed rice. An easy recipe but very tasty
Serves -1 person
Preparation time -5 mins, Cooking time-10 mins
Ingredients
1 Pompfret fish
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 turmeric powder
1/2 tsp mustard oil plus 7-8 Tbsp for deep fry
1 lime juice
Salt as per taste
For garnish
1 green chilli, onion rings and lime rings
Method
Make insertions on the fish body. In a bowl after washing the fish marinate with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, mustard oil, lime juice and salt. In a wok heat oil and deep fry the fish . Garnish with lime rings, onion rings and green chilli
