Halkova Mysore Mithai

This is a very famous dessert of Mysuru (Mysore in former times) which I made today. A dessert which I love and have had as many times I’ve travelled to Mysuru. Happy to share with you all

Serves – 20 in numbers

Difficulty level – Easy

Preparation time -10 mins, Cooking time-60 mins

Ingredients

2 cups Maida or All Purpose Flour

2 cups ghee or unadulterated butter

2 cups powdered sugar

1 Tbsp green cardamom powder

Method

In a blender make powdered sugar adding green cardamom. Set aside. In a wok heat ghee and add Maida or All Purpose Flour slowly on low flame and keep stirring. Once you get an aroma set aside. Cool for 10 mins. Add powdered sugar with green cardamom powder slowly and keep making a dough. Once done grease a baking tin and pour the dough and with a spatula spread it. Refrigerate for 30 mins. Cut into preferred shape and enjoy 😊
