We all know or have eaten Mutton mince meat Shami Kabab. Since most of us love Shami Kabab we make or look for it. But I thought why not make a vegetarian one and today I made with Mocha or Banana Flower. The taste was to die for

Preparation time-24 hrs10 mins, Cooking time-20 mins


1/2 cup Mocha or Banana Flower

1/4 cup Chana Dal

1/2 tsp ginger paste

1 Tbsp onion paste

1/2 cup mustard oil to fry

Salt as per taste


In a bowl soak Chana Dal for 24 hours, drain and make a paste. Clean, wash the Mocha and boil. Make a paste and set aside. In a bowl mix all ingredients together and make kababs. In a wok heat oil and fry them until golden in colour. Enjoy with any beverage

Boil mocha and make a paste
Soak Chana Dal and drain and make a paste
Mix altogether
Make Kababs
Fry until golden in colour
Plate and enjoy
