Khajur or Dates is a nutritious supplement and for sure best way to substitute sugar which is so unhealthy for the body. I made Rice Pudding with Khajur or Dates and the taste was so good. Friends, pls do try. The Kheer or Rice Pudding was raised to a different level.

Ingredients
1 cup Khajur or Dates
1/4 cup rice like short grain
4 cups milk
1 Tbsp pistachios and almond chopped
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Almonds & Pistachios to garnish
Method
In a bowl add milk, dates and rice and bring it to boil. Keep stirring until rice is cooked. Add chopped almonds and pistachios and cook for further 5-7 mins. Set aside and garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios
