Dhuska, a very popular street food of Jharkhand state is one of my favourite food from Jharkhand state. This is no only popular as a street food, it’s also eaten quite regularly amongst people in Jharkhand. A very low carb food and its main base is Chana Dal and Rice. Interestingly I haven’t eaten this dish during my ‘n’ number of visits to various places whether small or big in Jharkhand state yet this is a very popular food of Jharkhand

Soak the Dal and Rice separately overnight and drain and in a blender add them. Add garlic chopped, onion chopped, green chillies chopped and blend. In a wok heat oil and take a ladle of the batter which should be semi consistency and neither watery nor thick and add to the oil. Fry one side for 2 mins and flip. The centre should swell up but not the sides. Fry for all and set aside.
