Ingredients
1/4 cup Urad Dal
1/4 cup Rice
1 cup leaves of Amarnath, Radish, Malabar Spinach, Drumstick
1-2 small Ridge gourd
1 small pumpkin
1/2 tsp Panch Phoron
1 Whole Red chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
Mustard oil
Method
Make a powder of roasted Urad Dal & Rice and set aside. Wash the leaves, peel and cut the pumpkin and ridge gourd into 1” squares. In a pressure cooker with little water add the leaves and vegetables, turmeric powder, salt and cook for 15 mins. Mash the vegetables. In a wok heat oil and add panchphoron (whole spices of nigella seeds, fenugreek, cumin, fennel), whole red chilli and Add the powdered Rice & Dal slowly and stir at the same time to remove lumps. Set aside. Enjoy with rice
