Ingredients
For Mutton mince filling
250 gms mutton mince
2 Tbsp oul
1 medium size onion chopped fine
1 medium size tomato chopped fine
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
2-3 green chillies chopped
1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste
Sprigs of coriander leaves chopped
1/2 tsp Garam Masala powder
Salt as per taste
For Lukhmi
2 cups Maida
1 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp vinegar
Salt as per taste
Water as per need to make the dough
Oil to brush
Oil to fry
Method
To make the mince meat – heat oil and add ginger garlic paste. Stir for 2 mins and add chopped onions, stir for 5 mins, add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and stir well. Add mince meat and stir very well on low flame to let it cook. Once it’s brown in colour add salt and chopped coriander leaves. Cook well and set aside to cool.
To make the dough – in a bowl add Maida, vinegar, salt and with water make a dough. Brush with oil and keep it covered for 15 mins. Roll into a Paratha and brush oil all through. Fold 4 sides and a square is formed. Roll that and make it thin. Cut with knife 6 pieces. Make a batter of 1 Tbsp Maida with water and set aside. Add 1 Tbsp of the mince meat filling in the centre and fold all sides with Maida batter. Press with your fingers and then with the back of the fork. Finish the batch and heat oil in a wok. Deep fry the Lukhmi’s and enjoy with any Beverage while watching the IPL I enjoyed with coriander Chutney
