I love Chocolate so much that I had planned some days back that I will make Chocolate Martini. This is something I had tried in France and specially Montpellier. Here am I reminiscing and I made it.
Course – Dessert
Cuisine – French
Author – Madhubishs’s Kitchen
Difficulty level – Easy
Serves – 1 person
Preparation time – 5 mins, Cooking time -5 mins
Ingredients
1 Tbsp finely grated dark chocolate
50 ml whipping cream
1.5 shots Irish Cream liqueur
1.5 shots of Creme de cacao
1/2 shot vodka
Ice cubes
Method
First prepare the glass. Using fingers wet the rim of the glass and then put the grated chocolate on a plate and turn the glass on it. Freeze the glass. Just before serving whip the cream until thickened slightly but still sloppy. Put all the alcohol into a cocktail shaker with some ice cubes. Shake well then pour into the chilled glass and add a twirl of the cream. Finish with a sprinkle of the reserved chocolate and serve immediately

Oh you gorgeous devil, you! How did you know I needed a CHOCOLATE *MARTINI!* My, my, boy oh boy….I will be right over! We MUST have those when I come to visit! Kathleen’s birthday is Nov 17, mine the 20th and we are putting a dinner together with pie for dessert and I think I will make us each a chocolate martini!…Can’t wait!
I’ve been swamped, no time to talk or anything. I just erased about 50 emails and saved only yours. I want you to know how much I value you as a friend. If Kathleen and I have enough $$$ we will both come when the time is right.
Humptydumptytrumty and his wife have the virus. He’s an idiot. What was he thinking? The whole White house is affected….and I’ll bet NOTHING has been sanitized, and the reports say hardly anyone wore a mask. It’s horrifying how stupid people are…..
I will try and reach you when I hit the sack…you’ll just be getting up…
Love, Jo

Yayyyy!!!! Yessss!!! Come pls come and I shall make for both of you. Good that you mentioned Kathleen’s birthday. You both are scorpions which is great. Enjoy the Chocolate Martini! I’ll treat myself to a grand party just ‘me’ this 27th and looking forward to it. Unfortunately I shall stay in Calcutta to celebrate. I didn’t for the last two years and I loved enjoying outside home. Thank you for being a heart to heart friend. I know the Great Man in your country and his wife is down with Coronavirus. Poor him. Thinking he can escape. Stupid that he is. Love you My Dear. We shall talk when we do
