Indian dessert would be meaningless if there wouldn’t have been Ladoos. The massive variety that India has as far as Ladoo is concerned is mind boggling. Some are not so healthy and some can be made healthy. Ladoo is having the staple ingredient of sugar. Usual ones and traditional too are Besan or Chickpea flour, Coconut, Paneer or Cottage Cheese. Fusion or of different varieties are Avocado, Sesame seed, Yam etc. I had been wanting to make a different variety and came into a Avocado one. The recipe I referred to made Avocado Peda and I tweaked to make Ladoo. The result was mouthwatering

Preparation time-10 mins, Cooking time-45 mins
Ingredients
1 Avocado
1/4 cup coconut grated
2 cups milk powder
1/2 cup heavy creamed milk
1 tsp cardamom powder
2 Tbsp sugar
Method
Wash and extract the Avocado pulp. Set in a bowl and set aside. In a heavy bottomed pan add the milk powder and bring it to heat on low flame. Add sugar and add milk slowly while stirring. Don’t add milk at once. Slowly a dough consistency would be formed after adding the Avocado pulp. Add cardamom powder and keep stirring. Add Avocado pulp and keep stirring until the dough consistency is formed. Set aside to cool for 15 mins. Grease your palm and make lemon size balls. Smear with grated coconut and enjoy a healthy Ladoo
